Job description
The SAP Analyst supports operational effectiveness and service excellence by maintaining accurate master data, interpreting customer specifications, resolving discrepancies, and assisting with sophisticated and flexible financial models. This role partners cross-functionally with internal teams and customer-facing stakeholders to ensure updates, controls, and timelines are met., * Perform continuous audits to ensure standard, consistent, and high-quality master data in SAP and related systems is valid and accurate
- Collect, interpret, and maintain customer specifications for assigned accounts; research and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Partner cross-functionally with Buyers, SAP Coordinators across multiple sites, Business Process Improvement, Pricing, Billing, and Specification analysts
- Track, document, and resolve issues using JIRA; support on-call coverage (evenings/weekends) approximately once every two months
- Collaborate with operational teams and Finance partners to identify recurring problems, perform root-cause analysis, and reduce frequency and volume of issues
- Monitor and interpret specification changes and communicate impacts to ensure required lead times are met upstream
- Support process improvements by helping strengthen data governance, controls, reporting, and system workflows
- Provide clear written and verbal communication to internal and external customers and stakeholders, * Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while auditing data, preparing reports, and completing analysis
- Must be able to occasionally move about inside the office or work site to access files, systems, equipment, and collaborate with others
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a computer, calculator, copier, and printer
- Must be able to frequently communicate with internal teams and customers and must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations, * Primarily indoor office or operations-support environment, with routine interaction across departments
- Work near others and often share the same workspace
- May occasionally be exposed to sounds and noise levels that are distracting or uncomfortable in operational areas
- Deadline-driven work tied to specification changes, system accuracy, and customer service expectations
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or equivalent required
- 3+ years of demonstrated analyst experience
- Proven experience working in an SAP environment
- Experience in operations or manufacturing environments
- Experience in food production or food service environments preferred
- Experience working within a cross-functional team; training and development experience preferred
- Strong analytical skills and strong mathematical aptitude
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to meet required timelines
