Job description

We are hiring a BI Lead with expertise in Looker and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to drive the design and delivery of modern, AI-powered analytics solutions. This role requires a strong blend of hands-on technical leadership and stakeholder management, with a focus on transforming legacy BI environments into AI-first, cloud-native platforms.

The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end BI architecture, migration from legacy tools (SAP BO, Cognos, Tableau, etc.), and implementation of advanced capabilities such as Conversational AI (Google Gemini). You will play a key role in building scalable data models, governed semantic layers, and enterprise BI frameworks.

Strong client engagement, executive communication, and team leadership skills are essential, along with deep expertise in data modeling, governance, and modern analytics platforms.

Your Role

  • Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end BI and analytics solutions, integrating AI-driven capabilities to accelerate insights and democratize data access.
  • Architect modern BI platforms using Looker and GCP, ensuring scalability, performance, and governance.
  • Design and implement semantic layers (LookML) optimized for business and AI consumption.
  • Drive adoption of Conversational AI solutions (e.g., Google Gemini) for governed self-service analytics.
  • Integrate AI/ML capabilities, including prompt engineering, to enable intelligent reporting and proactive insights.
  • Evaluate and implement AI-driven features for event-based and automated analytics.
  • Lead, mentor, and upskill BI developers and analysts, especially in AI-enabled analytics practices.
  • Engage with stakeholders and present architecture strategies, delivery roadmaps, and business value propositions.
  • Drive change management initiatives to support adoption of modern BI and AI solutions.

Benefits & conditions

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is:$93,000 to $224,000.

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
