Job description
The IT Specialist supports the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and improvement of Bimeda's information technology environment. This role focuses on providing reliable technical support, maintaining IT systems and infrastructure, and assisting with IT projects to ensure business continuity and efficient service delivery. Provide technical support for IT infrastructure, systems, and end users.

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.

Administer and maintain server, network, and cloud environments with oversight from senior IT staff.

Monitor, analyze, and resolve system performance issues; escalate complex or unresolved issues to senior staff.

Support implementation of IT upgrades, patches, and system changes.

Assist with cybersecurity controls, endpoint protection, and access management.

Maintain accurate documentation of systems, procedures, and support activities.

Respond to service desk tickets within defined service levels.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations.

Serve as a point of escalation for issues beyond the scope of Level 1 staff and drive issues to resolution.

Associate's or bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.

3-5 years of IT support or systems administration experience.

Experience supporting users in a business or manufacturing environment preferred.

Working knowledge of Windows environments, networks, and common enterprise tools.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
-
Hands-on knowledge of VMWare Virtualization platform, Window and Linux Server administration, Active Directory Administration and M365/Azure administration.
