Job description
As a Java Developer Contractor, you will support the development and maintenance of Java-based applications. Design, develop, and maintain Java applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure the functionality and reliability of applications, and participate in code reviews to maintain code quality. Stay updated with the latest Java technologies and frameworks to recommend and implement improvements. Primary Skill: GCP Java Role summary: Build and support identity-focused services and integrations on GCP using Java full-stack skills, aligned to enterprise security and onboarding standards., Develop and enhance Java services/APIs supporting identity workflows and integrations. Integrate with enterprise identity standards (authentication/authorization flows as defined). Implement CI/CD, environment promotion, and operational readiness (logging/metrics, runbooks). Requirements
Strong Java/Spring (or equivalent) full-stack experience and API design skills. Experience deploying and operating services on GCP (or comparable cloud) with secure runtime identity patterns. Familiarity with secure coding practices and SDLC controls. Success measures Stable services in production; low-severity incidents; timely delivery of identity features.
