Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented IT Project Manager / Business Analyst to lead project planning, requirements gathering, and delivery execution across technology initiatives. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive project success, improve business processes, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

What You'll Do

Project Planning & Execution

Develop, document, and manage project plans throughout the full project lifecycle

Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders

Monitor project progress, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with goals

Identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery

Stakeholder & Communication Management

Lead project reviews with stakeholders, presenting schedules, milestones, and updates

Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences across all levels

Facilitate collaboration across cross-functional and matrixed teams

Business Analysis & Requirements

Conduct requirements gathering sessions with business stakeholders

Document business and system requirements, including functional specifications

Support business process analysis and redesign to improve operational efficiency

Translate business needs into technical solutions and system enhancements

Solution Design & Process Improvement

Lead design and prototyping sessions for new systems or major enhancements

Prepare system design proposals and specifications for complex solutions

Support continuous improvement initiatives across business and IT processes

Vendor Management

Support vendor selection processes, including documentation and evaluation activities

Coordinate vendor interactions, including meetings, requests, and deliverables

Track vendor performance, support requests, and enhancement efforts

Ensure vendor estimates and deliverables align with project requirements

Governance & Documentation

Maintain project documentation, including project charters, plans, backlogs, user stories, and status reports

Track action items, risks, and dependencies across project phases

Ensure adherence to governance standards and reporting requirements

Requirements

5+ years of experience in IT project management, business analysis, or related roles

Proven experience managing project plans, schedules, and deliverables

Hands-on experience with requirements gathering and documentation

Working knowledge of PMI project management principles

Understanding of Agile methodologies and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in government or healthcare environments

Experience managing vendors and third-party implementations

Strong experience handling escalations, risk management, and conflict resolution

Proficiency with MS Office tools and project tracking systems
