DevOps Architect

• Lead the strategic design and governance of enterprise DevOps platforms and practices with a primary focus on Azure DevOps and GitHub Enterprise.
• Design scalable, secure, and reusable CI/CD frameworks, automation standards, and deployment patterns.
• Define enterprise DevOps architecture standards, governance models, and modernization roadmaps.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on automation, platform stability, scalability, and developer enablement.
• Provide architectural oversight for Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), cloud-native deployments, and DevSecOps practices.
• Architect and optimize CI/CD pipelines across cloud and hybrid environments.
• Implement DevSecOps controls including code scanning, secrets management, policy enforcement, and vulnerability management.
• Lead automation efforts utilizing tools such as Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Bash, and related technologies.
• Support cloud platform modernization initiatives and deployment automation strategies.
• Ensure reliability, performance, and scalability of enterprise DevOps tooling and processes.
• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, internal technology teams, and a large offshore managed service provider (MSP) organization.
• Provide strategic oversight and governance for MSP-delivered DevOps services and engineering activities.
• Review and approve solution architectures, standards, deployment patterns, and technical documentation.
• Monitor KPIs, SLAs, operational metrics, and overall service delivery quality.
• Partner with leadership teams to align DevOps capabilities with business priorities and enterprise initiatives,
• Ensure DevOps practices align with enterprise governance, audit, security, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Partner closely with cybersecurity, risk, and audit teams to maintain secure and compliant delivery processes.
• Support change management, incident response, root cause analysis, and operational governance activities.
• Maintain architecture diagrams, operational documentation, runbooks, and support procedures.
• Work closely with Agile development teams to align DevOps strategies with application delivery goals.
• Provide executive-level updates related to DevOps maturity, operational risks, modernization progress, and strategic opportunities.
• Contribute to enterprise technology planning and long-term platform strategy initiatives.
• Help drive standardization and consistency across engineering and deployment practices.

Do you have experience in Stakeholder relationship building?, * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• 8+ years of DevOps engineering and architecture experience in enterprise environments.
• Deep expertise with:
• Azure DevOps
• GitHub Enterprise
• CI/CD pipeline design
• Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)
• DevSecOps practices
• Cloud-native architecture
• Strong experience with automation and scripting tools including:
• Terraform
• Ansible
• PowerShell
• Bash
• Experience leading or coordinating large offshore MSP-supported engineering organizations.
• Strong understanding of governance, compliance, operational controls, and enterprise change management.
• Experience supporting production operations, incident response, and root cause analysis.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to operate effectively within fast-paced, high-demand enterprise environments.
• Experience within financial services, banking, insurance, or other regulated industries.
• Azure DevOps Engineer Expert certification.
• Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.
• Experience with ServiceNow and enterprise ITSM processes.
• Familiarity with cloud governance frameworks, audit readiness, and enterprise operational controls.
• Experience developing enterprise DevOps roadmaps and modernization strategies.
