Unique blend of enterprise networking + live broadcast - Opportunity to work at the intersection of advanced IT infrastructure, RF engineering, studio production, and live streaming technologies like SRT/RTMP and PTP synchronization.
Cutting-edge tech stack - Hands-on ownership of Fortinet, Juniper, Arista, VMware, hybrid cloud (Azure/O365), zero-trust security, spine-leaf architecture, VLAN/VRF segmentation, and high-throughput video delivery environments.
Architect, not just maintain, The Senior Broadcast Network Engineer will support and maintain critical broadcast and production network environments, serving as a key technical authority across infrastructure supporting live streaming, video delivery, and production systems., Architecture & Network Design
- Design and implement robust Spine-Leaf network architectures and VLAN/VRF segmentation strategies to isolate and protect high-priority traffic.
Security Management
- Manage and secure perimeter infrastructure utilizing Fortinet Firewalls and CrowdStrike Identity Protection, maintaining a zero-trust security posture.
Network Infrastructure Management
- Configure, optimize, and maintain Juniper SRX/EX and Arista switching environments, prioritizing high-throughput video delivery and PTP (Precision Time Protocol) synchronization.
Deployment & Network Operations
- Physically build and deploy network environments, including rack elevations, cable management, and logical configuration of VPNs, QoS, and Load Balancers.
Advanced Troubleshooting
- Serve as the Tier-3 escalation point for complex network outages, utilizing deep packet inspection and forensic analysis to maintain maximum uptime.
Documentation & Process Improvement
- Create technical documentation and SOPs that support scalability and long-term infrastructure reliability.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot SRT/RTMP pathways and support streaming workflow optimization and automation.
Requirements
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Broadcast Network Engineer to join a high-availability, mission-critical environment. This is a strategic, hands-on role designed for an experienced network architect who thrives at the intersection of advanced IT infrastructure and live television/broadcast production.
Must be a Christian committed to the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. Must be able to pass an extensive background check., * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience
- 7-10+ years of senior-level experience in high-availability environments. Broadcast, live production, media, or telecom experience is highly preferred.
Core Technical Expertise
- Expert-level command of Fortinet Firewall Management
- Deep expertise in Juniper SRX/EX switching and Junos OS
- Strong knowledge of Arista, Brocade, and Dell switching environments
- Advanced understanding of VMware, Active Directory, and Windows Server (2019/2022)
- Experience with Azure and Office 365 integration within a hybrid-cloud environment
Preferred Certifications
- JNCIP, CCNP, or CCNA preferred
