Job description
- Infrastructure-as-Code: Design and manage cloud environments using Bicep or Terraform, consistent, repeatable, and automated.
- Azure Networking: Configure and maintain VNets, subnets, NSGs, VNet Peering, and Private/Public Endpoints.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Build and maintain Git-based DevOps pipelines (YAML) that make deployments faster, safer and more reliable.
- Security by Design: Implement IAM/RBAC, least-privilege access, network isolation and policy-as-code from day one.
- Observability: Set up monitoring, logging and alerting on Azure so issues get spotted before they become problems.
- DataOps/MLOps Support: Work closely with data engineers to streamline cloud infrastructure for data and ML workloads.
- Azure container apps and azure container registry and best practices to make the two work seamlessly.
Requirements
- Azure: At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Azure infrastructure and core services (Azure CLI, networking, compute, storage).
- IaC: Practical experience with Bicep or Terraform in production environments.
- CI/CD: Strong Git habits and experience writing YAML pipelines in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions to deploy single azure deployment and/or deployment stacks.
- Security: Solid understanding of Managed Identities, Service Principals, RBAC, Private Endpoints and cloud security governance.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience supporting data platform workloads (Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Data Lake).
- Familiarity with container orchestration (AKS, Docker).
- Relevant Azure certifications (e.g. AZ-104, AZ-400).
- Experience with IoT or industrial data infrastructure.
