You'll take on exciting technical challenges and develop your expertise while creating solutions that drive progress across several industries., In this pivotal position, you will be responsible for the meticulous test management of specific product components. Your expertise will ensure the validation of the products meets the highest quality standards., * Convert test requests: Translate concrete test requests into clear test procedures and define the required test equipment.
- Create test plans: Transform abstract test needs into structured, actionable test plans.
- Execute validation plans: Ensure execution of assigned parts of the product design validation plan and safeguard milestone achievement.
- Perform test analysis: Prepare, coordinate, execute, and analyze development tests, including structured reporting of results.
- Apply 6-sigma methods: Use structured 6-sigma problem-solving techniques to analyze and resolve technical issues in hardware testing and test data.
- Perform transmission root-cause analysis: Diagnose transmission-related malfunctions on both software and hardware level, collaborating cross-functionally to identify the true root cause.
- Operate test benches independently: Take full ownership of test benches with growing experience.
- Develop CANape scripting: Build foundational coding skills in Vector CANape for script creation and adaptation.
- Coordinate technicians: Organize and guide technicians for efficient and safe execution of test activities.
Requirements
We are searching for a candidate with a strong background in engineering, particularly in automotive or electro-mechanical fields. You should have a passion for automotive testing and be equipped with the necessary skills and tools:
- Master in Automotive, Electro-Mechanical, or equivalent by experience.
- Experience in automotive testing and testing facilities.
- Familiarity with Hybrid Powertrains and Automatic Transmission.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience with methods like 8D and Six Sigma.
- Familiarity with following tools: VECTOR CANape, CANalyser, AVL-CRETA, INCA, Matlab.
