Job description

Data Engineer KISIM Reporting (80 - 100%)

Shape the future of healthcare with us.

At CISTEC, we develop and operate KISIM, one of the leading clinical information systems in Switzerland. Our product supports medical professionals, nursing staff, and specialists in everyday clinical practice - from regional hospitals to university hospitals, from psychiatry to rehabilitation. What drives us is the conviction that good software relieves people and improves patient care.

Grow with us.

From our beginnings with two employees, we have developed into a market-leading IT company with 300 dedicated professionals - and we continue to grow. Here, expertise, team spirit, and passion come together. If you want to be part of a success story that shapes Swiss healthcare daily, then you are exactly right with us.

Innovative together. For more time with people.

Your tasks

  • Creation of data analyses and evaluations of hospital-relevant data.
  • Development of economically and qualitatively relevant evaluations for hospitals, partly in collaboration with internal and external contacts.
  • Creation of SQL queries and subsequent preparation of data in Apache Superset.
  • Development of innovations in data processing and forecasting.
  • Co-supervision of the cluster infrastructure (Kubernetes).

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in a similar position with a focus on data analysis and data forecasting.
  • Completed studies (university/FH) in computer science or a comparable technical education with a focus on data analysis and data processing.
  • Knowledge of statistical analyses and key figures.
  • High personal responsibility and a self-organised working style.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to translate statements and needs of customers into requirements.
  • Enjoyment of working with other people and the ability to promote active collaboration.
  • Fluent German skills in spoken and written form; English and French skills are an advantage.
