Job description

As a Multiphoton Microscope Test & Support Engineer, you will be responsible for factory testing, on-site installation, commissioning, and technical after-sales support of Karthala System microscopy solutions., · Factory Testing & Validation:

o Perform full system setup, optical alignment and calibration of Karthala microscopes at the production facility

o Ensure systems reach full conformity and optimal performance prior to delivery

o Develop and continuously improve test tools, procedures, and technical documentation

o Validate new system features and design evolutions through experimental testing

· Installation & Commissioning:

o Install, align, and calibrate microscopy systems in customers' laboratories

o Ensure full system compliance and peak performance within customer environments

· Support and Troubleshooting:

o Act as the technical after-sales representative and key technical contact for customers

o Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, with expert support when necessary, remotely or on-site to minimize system downtime

o Collect field feedback and actively contribute to continuous design and performance improvements

Requirements

Do you have experience in Hand tools?, Do you have a Master's degree?, · Education: PhD or Master's degree in Physics, Optics, or a related scientific or engineering field

· Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in setting up complex optical imaging systems, preferentially microscopy systems, and ideally fluorescence microscopy systems such as two-photon

· Strong background in optics and laser systems

· Professional proficiency in English (B2-C1 level)

Additional skills appreciated

· Experience in optoelectronics, especially electronics control of active components (e.g. scanners, motors, detectors)

· Familiarity with opto-mechanical design and CAD tools, capability to design / customize small parts.
