Job description

We're hiring an IT Support Technician to join a busy internal IT team, supporting day-to-day operations across a professional business environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with solid technical foundations who wants to expand their skills, gain exposure to wider infrastructure, and be part of a supportive team.

What you'll be doing:

  • Delivering first-line and second-line support via phone, email, and in person
  • Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
  • Managing user accounts, passwords, and permissions
  • Supporting Windows environments, Office 365, and Active Directory
  • Maintaining desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and AV equipment
  • Assisting with system monitoring, backups, and security checks
  • Supporting new user onboarding, setup, and training
  • Working with third-party suppliers and internal departments on escalated issues
  • Keeping IT asset registers and technical documentation up to date

Requirements

  • Experience in IT support or service desk environments
  • Knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DHCP, and Office 365
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Organised approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • A proactive attitude and genuine passion for technology
