Job description
- Work closely with stakeholders to turn business questions into clear, actionable insights.
- Use SQL to extract, shape and analyse data that supports confident decision-making.
- Raise data quality by validating datasets, reviewing new sources and improving collection methods.
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards, including modelling, Power Query transformations and DAX measures.
- Use practical analytics and basic statistics and communicate assumptions and uncertainty clearly.
- Partner with colleagues to deliver and continuously improve dashboards and reports that users trust.
- Help keep reporting reliable: shape ETL/ELT requirements and monitor refreshes, accuracy and reconciliations.

Requirements
Do you have experience in SQL?, * You're an experienced Data Analyst and you're ready to step up-growing your skills while making a real impact.
- You're curious and collaborative, and you enjoy solving problems-using data and applications to improve how we work.
- You don't need to know everything-we'll support your development. A proactive mindset and a genuine interest in tech are essential.
What you'll bring
- A solid grounding in data modelling (e.g., fact/dimension tables), data quality, and how operational data flows into reporting and analytics.
- A good understanding of core statistical concepts (e.g., sampling, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, basic regression) and how to interpret results appropriately.
- Confidence explaining assumptions, limitations and uncertainty in plain English to non-technical audiences.
- Strong skills in advanced Excel and SQL, plus experience building dashboards and reports in Power BI (Python and/or R is a bonus).
- Hands-on Power BI capability, including data modelling and transformation DAX and Power Query) and turning requirements into clear, usable reporting.
- Working knowledge of data warehousing and ETL/ELT-able to define extract requirements and validate datasets for accurate reporting., Please note - this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship and applicants must have existing, unrestricted right to work in the UK.

- Attractive salary of between £35,000 and £45,000 depending on experience.
