Job description

We are currently looking for a Software Engineer to join our Technology function. This role focuses on designing, developing, and improving new and existing software applications, supporting reliable delivery into production, and contributing to high-quality, efficient engineering outcomes that align with our strategic priorities.

You will be part of a new and very exciting tech squad that is being formed to operate in a strong Agile environment and engineering best practice. Working across a three-squad community, you will collaborate closely with software engineers, testers, and business colleagues, balancing in-person collaboration with flexible and remote working to deliver shared goals.

Our Tech Stack: .NET Core, Angular, React, Azure, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Kubernetes, TDD/BDD, Cloud Native architecture, Agile/Scrum What's the Role

  • Design, develop, and enhance new and existing software applications.
  • Deliver technical tasks end to end, from implementation through to production support.
  • Collaborate within an Agile squad to deliver backlog items aligned to business priorities.
  • Apply unit and integration testing to ensure high-quality, reliable software.
  • Identify and make technical debt visible, proposing practical solutions and improvements.
  • Support production issues through effective problem solving and troubleshooting.
  • Document solutions to support knowledge sharing and a stable development environment.

Requirements

  • Experience developing software using the Microsoft .NET technology stack.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript and modern frameworks such as React or Angular.
  • Experience with unit, integration, and automated testing approaches.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git, and modern CI/CD practices.
  • Hands-on experience working in Agile delivery environments such as Scrum.
  • Understanding of TDD and BDD principles.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-first mindset.
