Job description
We're growing rapidly-and we're looking for a skilled Audio Visual Lighting Design Engineer who wants to grow with us, take ownership of exciting projects, and build an incredible career along the way.
What You'll Do
- Design AV and lighting systems for a diverse range of projects
- Produce detailed drawings, specifications, and project documentation
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and project teams from concept through installation
- Provide technical support and guidance during system commissioning
- Serve as a key liaison between the engineering team and Project Managers, ensuring seamless communication from design through delivery
- Help lead and mentor fellow engineers, providing technical direction and supporting team growth
Requirements
Do you have experience in Technical support?, * Proven experience in AV and/or lighting system design
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, AV technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- CTS-I and/ or CTS-D certification (or willingness to pursue)
- Proficiency in AV and lighting drawings
- Proficiency in Vectorworks
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- A self-starter mentality with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Familiarity with estimating software, Microsoft Office, and project planning tools
- A genuine passion for AV, lighting, broadcast, or immersive technology
- Solid understanding of low-voltage systems and signal flow
