IT Systems Administrator

AE Global is seeking a hands-on IT Systems Administrator to manage day-to-day IT operations while strengthening the company's infrastructure, security posture, and scalability. This role serves as the primary internal IT resource, supporting employees, systems, and network environments, while partnering with external IT providers to ensure performance, security, and continuity across the organization.

Responsibilities

IT Operations & Help Desk

· Manage and operate the company's internal help desk, including intake, prioritization, and resolution of IT issues.

· Serve as the primary technical resource for employees, troubleshooting hardware, software, network, email, and peripheral issues.

· Escalate and coordinate with external IT partners when necessary.

Infrastructure & Systems Management

· Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade operating systems, software, and hardware.

· Support IT infrastructure across physical and cloud environments, including servers, workstations, and network equipment.

· Perform routine maintenance, system updates, patches, and configuration changes.

· Assist in planning and executing infrastructure buildouts and upgrades.

Network & Security

· Support monitoring of network security and recommend best practices.

· Develop and deploy penetration testing initiatives and internal security training programs.

· Configure and maintain firewalls, routers, switches, and access controls.

· Manage user access, permissions, and system security with strict confidentiality.

Employee Lifecycle & IT Administration

· Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including provisioning and de-provisioning user accounts, licenses, and devices.

· Maintain IT asset inventory and coordinate hardware/software procurement.

· Provide training and guidance to employees on systems, tools, and best practices.

Systems Development & Continuous Improvement

· Assist in the design, testing, and implementation of new systems, tools, and technologies.

· Evaluate and recommend hardware and software solutions aligned with business needs.

· Maintain documentation of systems, processes, and configurations.

Vendor & Partner Management

· Act as the internal liaison to AE Global's IT service providers.

· Coordinate system integrations, maintenance activities, and issue resolution.

· Ensure alignment between internal needs and external support capabilities.

· Evaluate service performance against cost and recommend improvements or changes to external IT partnerships.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
