Job description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Data Analyst (People Analytics / BI) for a top enterprise client operating in a highly secure data environment. This analyst will own the heavy lifting behind people analytics reporting, building robust datasets in Databricks, systemizing Excel-based tools, and delivering polished Tableau dashboards used by both executives and frontline supervisors. The role emphasizes data security, accuracy, and speed, with access to highly sensitive PII and headcount data. All work is centrally scoped and prioritized, allowing the analyst to focus on execution, scalability, and delivering production-ready insights in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment., * Build and maintain production-ready datasets that support analytics and reporting

  • Develop, enhance, and support Tableau dashboards for:

? Executive / VP-level visibility

? Supervisor and ground-level productivity tracking

  • Translate Excel-based productivity tools into:

? Scalable data models

? Systemized pipelines

? Role-based visual reporting views

  • Work directly in Databricks to:

? Ingest and model data

? Support data pipelines

? Ensure reliability and accuracy of reporting outputs

  • Support reporting use cases such as:

? Supervisor-level visibility into individual employee activity (e.g., daily work tracking)

  • Execute scoped work that is:

? Defined and approved by team

? Delivered with clear criteria and pre-visualization concepts

  • Handle fast-turn executive requests with an emphasis on speed, accuracy, and security

Opportunistically assist with Databricks optimization and environment cleanup when bandwidth allows

Requirements

  • Strong SQL skills for building, querying, and maintaining analytical datasets
  • Advanced Tableau experience building executive- and operational-level dashboards
  • Hands-on experience working in Databricks within a complex, existing ecosystem
  • Proven ability to perform heavy dataset construction that feeds dashboards and reporting
  • Experience creating repeatable, systemized data workflows (reducing manual Excel processes)
  • Demonstrated experience handling PII and highly confidential data, including:

? Headcount data

? Turnover data

? Social Security Numbers

? People analytics datasets

  • Clear understanding of data security, confidentiality, and risk ownership
  • Ability to work independently once requirements are scoped and approved
  • Experience receiving and managing work via JIRA Python
