Job description
General Job Description: Supports administration and maintenance of enterprise infrastructure, server environments, identity management systems, and operational platforms., * Perform assigned technical and operational duties supporting federal IT operations and modernization efforts.
- Provide operations and maintenance (O&M) support for mission-critical government systems, requiring broad and deep knowledge across applicable technologies; including: Bigfix patch management and compliance monitoring;Microsoft Active Directory, Internet Information Services (IIS), Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Windows Server Update Services (WSUS); Office 365 , Cloud infrastructures: Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS); Endpoint management technologies such as Intune; Identity management (Okta); Redhat Linux; Zscaler; Powerbroker; AlienVault; Automation
- Sets up administrators and service accounts, maintains system documentation, tuning system performance, installs system-wide software, validates and implements critical system patches, and allocates mass storage space. Interact with users and evaluate vendor products.
- Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation, and provide backup recovery.
- Schedules, plans, and oversees system upgrades.
- Develops functional requirements through interaction with end-users and coordinates with the development team on systematic enhancements or changes.
- Develops policies and standards related to the use of computing resources, overall strategy, design, implementation, and operational aspects of multiple systems, operating environments, and related software.
- Oversee daily operations of systems to ensure system availability.
- Performs other duties, as assigned.
Requirements

Relevant federal IT experience, technical capability, and operational support experience aligned to assigned labor category.

Must be skilled in Windows Server 2019 and later, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 9 and later, BigFix patch management, Active Directory, Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS), Internet Information Services (IIS), OpenSSL, Windows 11, Office 365 administration, secure network architecture, hardware maintenance, system management tools, and backup solutions.
