Job description
- Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end user workstation hardware, networked peripheral devices, and networking hardware products. Where required, install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot associated end user workstation software and networking software products.
- Troubleshoot basic network and hardware problems that arise during IT Enterprise operations.
- Coordinate with the customer to schedule activities while not impairing or interrupting ongoing missions. Equipment includes computers, laptops, thin or zero client end-points, monitors, speakers, keyboards, mice, Keyboard/Video/Mouse (KVM) switching equipment, and other desktop endpoint computing and display equipment.
- Accurately document instances of hardware failure, repair, installation, and removal.
- Support development and implementation of new computer projects and new hardware installations.
- Support hardware life-cycle replacement and product warranties with various vendors.
- Recommend, schedule, and perform PC, hardware and peripheral equipment improvements and upgrades.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Computer hardware?, * Current TOP SECRET security clearance with SCI eligibility
- At least 1 year of practical experience
- Knowledge of computer hardware and their interconnectivity
- IAT Level II preferred
