Job description
An healthcare administrative company out of Portland, Oregon is looking for a Cloud Network Engineer to join their team. This person will need strong experience across on-premises and cloud environments. Technical experience required is Microsoft Azure. Hands on experience with cloud networking, on-premises networking concepts, implementing secure network architectures, has a background with DevOps practices and methodologies, and ability to develop dashboards and alerts for monitoring across network and security, This person must be able to work core PST hours and partner well across the technology organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- Relevant certifications in Cisco or Azure networking
- Strong senior level experience with cloud networking in Azure, including VNets, NSGs, UDRs, Private Endpoints, Azure Firewall and VPN Gateways
- On Premises networking experience with VMware, F5, and Firewalls
- Experience implementing secure network architectures, hybrid connectivity, and network segmentation
- Experience with DevOps (IaC)
- Analytics platforms experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and SIEM tools
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with technical team members - Experience working in a hybrid or enterprise environment
- VMware networking and cloud solutions experience
- Ability to ensure compliance with enterprise reference architectures
