The FOX Data Platform Team is looking for a Senior Data Engineer with a passion for building robust, scalable, efficient, and high-quality Data Engineering solutions to join our Data Engineering team. - Architect and implement robust, scalable data pipelines and workflows to process and manage large-scale datasets.
- Collaborate on creating innovative data systems that align with evolving business needs.
- Leverage a Modern Tech Stack:
- Utilize AWS, Databricks, Redshift, Snowflake, DBT, Airflow, Monte Carlo, and Atlan to build and optimize our data ecosystem.
- Develop both real-time and batch data solutions to support analytics and operational requirements.
- Empower Advanced Analytics:
- Apply statistical modeling and machine learning to solve complex, high-impact business problems.
- Work closely with data scientists to build and deploy production-grade ML models at scale.
- Ensure Data Excellence:
- Guarantee the quality, security, and reliability of data pipelines and platforms.
- Use tools like Monte Carlo and Atlan to maintain data observability, governance, and trustworthiness.

Requirements
- Solid understanding of data architecture, distributed systems, and database design.
- Experience in statistical modeling, machine learning, and mathematical problem-solving.
- Hands-on coding experience with innovative problem solving skills
- Proficiency in Our Tech Stack:
- Experience with AWS cloud services (S3, Lambda, Glue, etc.).
- Solid hands-on experience with Databricks, Redshift, Snowflake, DBT, and Airflow.
- Expertise in Advanced SQL programming and SQL Performance Tuning
- Experience with CI/CD using GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
- Learning and Adaptability:
- Willingness to learn and implement new tools, techniques, and frameworks.

Regular, on-site attendance at the workplace a minimum of 3 days per week is an essential function of the position. Selected candidate must be able to reliably meet this requirement., * 7+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, or related fields.
- Strong programming expertise in Python and SQL.
- Familiarity with big data technologies and distributed computing frameworks.
- Prior experience working in large-scale data ecosystems deploying solutions for enterprise environments in a startup or fast-paced environment is a plus.
- Knowledge of Monte Carlo and Atlan for data observability and cataloging

Benefits & conditions
Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $143,000.00-170,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
