Job description

We are hiring a Salesforce Engineer to join our client's Commercial Credit Technology team on a contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work on enterprise-scale Salesforce applications supporting large commercial lending and credit operations within a highly regulated financial environment. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on Salesforce Developer with strong Apex coding expertise and extensive experience building complex integrations across enterprise platforms. You'll work in a fast-paced Agile environment focused on innovation, scalability, compliance, and technical excellence., * Design, develop, and support enterprise Salesforce applications using Apex and Salesforce platform technologies

  • Build and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware platforms
  • Collaborate with architects, developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions
  • Develop unit tests and support test-driven development practices
  • Analyze existing applications and integrations to identify enhancements and improvements
  • Support CI/CD processes with automated builds, testing, and deployments
  • Create technical documentation, flow diagrams, and integration designs
  • Participate in Agile/SAFe ceremonies and contribute to technical planning and execution
  • Work on high-volume enterprise applications with multiple integrations and distributed systems
  • Ensure applications are optimized for performance, scalability, and reliability

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer or Salesforce Engineer
  • Strong hands-on experience with Apex development
  • Proficiency with SOQL and SOSL within Salesforce
  • Experience with Salesforce API integrations, including REST and SOAP services
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce integration patterns and enterprise architecture
  • Experience working with SQL and data interface technologies
  • Exposure to Mulesoft and enterprise middleware platforms is highly preferred
  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise integrations and cloud-based applications
  • Familiarity with Agile/SAFe development methodologies and CI/CD environments
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and comms
  • Salesforce certifications are a plus
  • Banking or financial services industry experience is preferred
  • Experience with nCino platform integrations is a plus
