Job description

A local manufacturing client of Insight Global's is looking for a System Engineer to join their infrastructure team. This person will be a support function as the organization undergoes a series of major migrations. Due to the migrations, there will be quite a bit of troubleshooting that has flowed through tier 1 and tier 2. Additionally, this person will be tasked with full infrastructure monitoring and support. Alongside the Senior System Engineer, this person will be completing monthly patching and updates, monitoring backup jobs, installation of applications/databases. This person needs to have strong experience with virtual machines (standing up new Vms, copying VMs, and migrating VMs).

Requirements

5 years of experience as a system engineer

  • experience within an Azure environment

  • VMWare/Vsphere management - HPE Greenlake

  • VMware certifications (VCTA, VCP, VCAP, VCDX)

  • VMWare Aria cloud management

  • TrueNAS

  • Veeam

  • Microsoft Defender
