Job description
Kforce has a client in Boston, MA that is seeking a Software Engineer - Robotics to join a talented and collaborative engineering team developing highly innovative autonomous robotic systems., In this role, you will help build and maintain the core software and localization systems that enable world-class robots, while working closely with cross-functional engineering teams. This is a highly impactful opportunity to contribute directly to next-generation robotic products., * Develop, test, and optimize robot localization algorithms
- Design and implement autonomous robotics software in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Work with sensor technologies including lidar, stereo cameras, and RGB cameras
- Document, validate, and maintain high-quality production code
- Research and implement new technologies, algorithms, and approaches
- Use data-driven analysis to validate system performance and functionality
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in robotics localization software development
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python
- Expertise with localization algorithms such as SLAM, particle filters, and Kalman filters
- Experience working with robotic sensor systems and Linux-based embedded platforms
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
