Job description
The Software Engineer, Data Infrastructure & Acquisition role focuses on supporting the AI team's data collection efforts critical for model training. This position is responsible for building and maintaining scalable data ingestion pipelines and collaborating with scientists and leadership to optimize data quality and cost-efficiency. The role directly contributes to advancing the organization's next-generation AI products by ensuring rich, high-quality datasets are available at scale.
- Responsibilities:

Identify and acquire new audio data sources for ingestion.

Operate and enhance the cloud infrastructure supporting data pipelines, primarily on GCP using Terraform.

Collaborate with scientists to improve data cost, throughput, and quality.
Requirements

Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science or related field.

Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience.

Proficiency in bash and Python scripting within Linux environments.

Experience with Docker, Infrastructure-as-Code, and at least one major cloud provider (preferably GCP).

Familiarity with web crawlers and large-scale data processing is a plus.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to shifting priorities.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Benefits & conditions
- Pay Range and Compensation Package:
- The United States base salary range for this full-time position is $140,000 to $200,000 plus bonus and equity, depending on experience.
