Job description

  • Hardware setup and troubleshooting experience (laptops, desktops, scanners, printers, mobile devices, etc.)
  • Strong customer service experience
  • Imaging

Notes:

  • This project is part of endpoint replacement team.
  • Worksite locations could be as far south as Paoli and as far north as South Bend/Ft. Wayne, but most will be in Indianapolis area.
  • Shift is standard 8 hour day (could fall in between 7am-7pm, depending on location and project schedule)
  • Overtime and weekend work is possible, but not likely (would be days, if so)

Customer Job Description: Performs analytical, technical, and administrative work in the planning, designing and installation of new and existing approved end user devices. Works on complex hardware and software problems. Interacts with other IS teams such as Networking, Servers, Database, Applications, Web, Vendors, etc. to restore service and/or identify and correct the core problem. Understands networking and communication protocols. Installs new equipment and maintains existing equipment including the ability to perform warranty work. Participates in small and large end user device projects and moves, adds changes of equipment hardware, software, and peripherals including on-site troubleshooting of existing equipment. Reports problems via established policies, procedures and rounding logs. Light travel is also required, Other duties include desktop support, Windows 10 upgrade, ongoing project expansions, helping with ticket load and covering for peers on PTO, etc. Fulfills customer requirements. Documentation of duties performed. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Windows support?, * Desktop Deployment: 3 years (Preferred)

  • Imaging: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Microsoft Windows Server: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • CompTIA A+ (Preferred)
