Job description
As the Warehouse Lead/SAP Scanner (Bilingual), you will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient and organized operations of our warehouse. You will be responsible for managing a team of warehouse associates, ensuring accurate inventory tracking and control, and optimizing the flow of materials and products through our facility. Your strong leadership skills, combined with your expertise in utilizing SAP software and your bilingual proficiency, will be essential in driving continuous improvement and exceeding our operational goals., * Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse associates, including forklift operators, shipping and receiving personnel, and inventory control specialists
- Ensure accurate and timely scanning of products and materials using SAP software
- Oversee the receiving, storage, and distribution of inventory, maintaining optimal stock levels
- Implement and monitor safety protocols to maintain a safe and compliant work environment
- Analyze data and generate reports to identify trends and opportunities for process improvements
- Provide training and guidance to warehouse team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning
- Serve as a bilingual liaison, facilitating effective communication and collaboration across diverse teams
Requirements
Do you have experience in Team management?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * 2-3 years of experience in a warehouse supervisory or lead role
- Proficient in the operation of forklifts and other warehouse equipment
- Demonstrated expertise in utilizing SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) software
- Fluency in English and at least one additional language, preferably Spanish
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent
Working Conditions: This position is based in a warehouse environment and may require the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and navigate a busy, fast-paced work setting. The schedule is typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional weekend or overtime work as needed.
