Requirements

Primary Skills: DB2

Role Description: The DB2 z/OS Database Administrator must have 8+ years of experience.

Must Have Skills:

  • DB2 z/OS Database Administration in a large complex Database Environment

  • Knowledge of IBM replication products -IIDR products=QRep and/or CDC

  • Extensive Experience in SQL, REXX, JCL, COBOL.

The Expertise You Have:

  • Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent with 10+ years relevant experience.

The Skills You Bring:

  • Extensive experience in DB2 z/OS Database Administration in a large complex Database Environment

  • Experience supporting IBM IIDR data replication tools: Q Replication and/or CDC Replication

  • Extensive Experience in SQL, REXX, JCL, COBOL

  • Working knowledge of CA Database Tools

  • Working Knowledge of Performance tuning, Database Security and Access management

  • Exposure to distributed database technologies and cloud

  • Brokerage Back-office knowledge

The Value You Deliver:

  • Providing Application Database and Replication support for a large DB2 z/OS sysplex environment.

  • Maintenance of Databases - Utilities management.

  • Providing 24x7 on-call support.

  • Review of SQL/Programs against standards and Performance tuning.

Education: Bachelor's degree

Experience: Minimum 8+ years of experience
