Job description
- Maintain tooling, libraries, and infrastructure leveraged by all core service teams
- Develop and maintain infrastructure services that enable engineers to manage, deploy, and scale systems
- Act as a technical leader, guiding core service teams to design robust and reliable software
- Propose, design, coordinate, and implement cross-cutting initiatives impacting all of core services, both as an individual contributor and as a technical leader
- Propose, design, document, and communicate evolving SRE best practices to keep StackAdapt's core service backend maintainable
- Conduct security reviews for new projects, technologies, and services
Requirements
Do you have experience in Terraform?, * At least 5 years experience in Infrastructure, Cloud, or Backend engineering
- At least 5 years experience with AWS, or other Cloud provider
- Strong programming, system design, and scripting skills
- Deep understanding of infrastructure as a code and application/network security
- Experience setting up complex AWS environments with Terraform
- Database management experience is a plus
- Experience with our existing technologies is a strong plus: Terraform, Vault, Nomad, Packer, Vagrant, Boundary, Consul, Waypoint, Redis, Aerospike, Go, ScyllaDB, Elasticsearch, RDS, Grafana, Prometheus, Kafka, Envoy, Nginx
