Solve the most challenging and pressing engineering problems for our clients. Join our engineering teams that build massively scalable software and systems, architect low latency infrastructure solutions, proactively guard against cyber threats, and leverage machine learning alongside financial engineering to continuously turn data into action. Create new businesses, transform finance, and explore a world of opportunity at the speed of markets. Goldman Sachs Engineers are innovators and problem-solvers, building solutions in Artificial Intelligence, risk management, big data, mobile and more.

As part of Core Engineering at Goldman Sachs, the Cloud Platform team is responsible for enabling the use of public cloud services across the firm. You will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team responsible for researching, architecting and building a cutting-edge platform that enables Goldman Sachs teams to deploy and manage services in public cloud safely and securely. The organization is seeking highly collaborative, creative, and intellectually curious engineers who are passionate about developing and implementing cutting-edge cloud computing solutions. The ideal candidate will thrive in a DevOps culture and contribute to customer-centric product development. • Lead Product Definition - Own and drive the customer working backwards strategy, tenets, long-term goals and working backwards documents (press release, FAQ) for cloud platform products, incorporating customer feedback, competitive analysis, and business metrics to inform direction.
  • Define Product Roadmap - Partner with engineering leadership and stakeholders to define the product's strategic vision and roadmap for cloud patterns, migration tools, and developer experience enhancements, including investment priorities, innovation, and experimentation.
  • Champion Customer Experience - Drive a frictionless and intuitive cloud onboarding experience for developers, accelerating their transition to public cloud through ready-to-consume patterns and solutions.
  • Execute Product Planning and Development - Define customer goals and business requirements for product releases, working with engineering teams to ensure implementation aligns with product vision, customer needs, and business objectives.
  • Lead Product Launch - Own go-to-market delivery for new cloud patterns, services, and features, ensuring customer and business goals are met in operational launch plans.
  • Define and Prioritize Features - Translate customer needs into actionable feature requests that align with the firm's business and engineering priorities, creating backlogs that support the product roadmap using Agile processes.
  • Drive Operations and Continuous Improvement - Monitor and respond to customer feedback, track adoption metrics, and drive continuous improvement of cloud solutions based on user insights and business impact.
  • Serve as Customer Advocate - Act as a key member of the customer advisory board to gather feedback on cloud onboarding goals, challenges, and feature requests from application development teams.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with engineering teams, security, compliance, and other platform teams to balance customer needs with technical constraints and organizational requirements.
  • Influence Senior Leadership - Communicate the product's vision, strategy, goals, status, and customer impact to engineering leadership and stakeholders across the firm, reporting on key wins, roadblocks, and migration progress.
