Raytheon's Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) Surface Radars & Sensors Center is seeking a Ship Integration Lead to be a technical lead for integration and test on the SPY-6 family of RADARs. The Ship Integration Lead will provide technical leadership through the hardware and software integration of the SPY-6 Family of Radars on board naval ships. Responsibilities include supporting the shipyard installation of hardware on ship and leading the execution of integration and test on the system. The Ship Integration Lead will be expected to implement the integration and test strategy, lead a multi-disciplined team at the shipyard through integration and test activities while working to the shipyard provided schedule, interface with the engineering and program management team, implement best practices, provide mentoring and guidance to the team, and identify lessons learned to drive improvements to the radar integration process and schedule.
What You Will Do
- Develop and implement day-to-day integration and test plans based on shipyard schedule, program plans and interface with engineering leadership
- Lead successful technical execution of complex integration and test events
- Interface with both Functional Leadership and Program Leadership in Marlborough, Massachusetts
- Work with CPT lead to characterize staffing needs and develop transition plans
- Mentor and train on-site engineers across multiple shifts
- Interface with the customer, shipyard and integration collaborator on a daily basis
- This role is based out of the Huntington Ingalls shipyard in Pascagoula, MS. This role will require extended hours and may require the employee to support off-shift hours.
Requirements
Ability to obtain INTERIM U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date, * Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience working in an integration lab, test facility, and/or in the field.
- Experience with hardware installation, activation, troubleshooting and/or repair.
- Experience with power systems, cooling systems and/or backend electronics., * Prior experience working onboard ships or at remote test sites.
- Experience working with the US Navy customer.
- Experience working on naval radar programs.
- Subject Matter Expert in Systems Integration, Verification, and/or Validation
Benefits & conditions
The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
