Job description
As an Associate, Application Development, you will perform and deliver on routine assignments/projects while simultaneously leveraging and applying knowledge for Workplace Solutions Data Analytics and Reporting team. You will develop innovative business solutions by creating new applications, modifying existing applications and providing post production support. You will deliver business application software solutions following the system development life cycle process. What you'll be doing

Stay current on emerging technologies and trends, partnering with management to incorporate improvements into existing and future solutions.

Analyze, design, develop, test, and support application solutions, including debugging and integration.

Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high quality technical solutions.

Translate business requirements into technical specifications and detailed development tasks.

Perform system analysis on existing applications to determine enhancement or maintenance needs.

Create and maintain program documentation, test data, and testing plans; ensure thorough testing of changes.

Identify, communicate, and implement process or system improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.

Participate in design, requirements, and code walkthroughs to ensure solution quality.

Investigate and resolve issues, including timely support of production systems.

Effective productivity/technology tools and training, The pay range for this position is $44,800 - $81,400 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln's total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln's standard benefits package., This position may be subject to Lincoln's Political Contribution Policy.
