Job description

  • Oracle and SQL Server Database Administrator, Senior Oracle Apps DBA with 10 plus years of IT industry experience with strong emphasis in Oracle database as well as the ability to function as a SQL Server DBA.
  • Support change management including maintenance across multiple environments and deploying approved patches.
  • Support security/SOX Audit Reporting and provide input and recommendations.
  • Provide production and operational support, and on call duties.

Database administration:

  • Creating users, tablespaces, logs,
  • Performance tuning,
  • Upgrades, Capacity management, Auto Config
  • Disaster Recovery, Backup and Cloning, Security
  • Technical Patch Management. Oracle Enterprise Manager, Oracle ADI, XML, and Publisher and Workflow
  • Hands on experience with AD Utilities: ADOP, Adadmin, Adpatch, Adconfig, adctrl, Adsplice & Adrelink
  • Single Sign-On implementation of Oracle eBusiness Suite

Must have extensive DBA experience with Oracle eBusiness Suite Version 12.2 and above.

SQL Server Administration:

  • Develop, implement and optimize stored procedures and functions
  • Research required data
  • Build appropriate and useful reporting deliverables
  • Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements
  • Suggest new queries for continuous systems improvements
  • Detailed knowledge of SQL Server
  • Experience and knowledge of high availability and disaster recovery solutions including Failover Cluster Instances, Availability Groups, Database Mirroring, Log Shipping, and backups and restores
