- Design custom website mockups and user experiences based on research and conversion-focused strategy
- Create visually compelling, brand-aligned website designs for healthcare clients
- Work within Figma to present concepts and revisions to the team
- Source appropriate images and existing client content as needed
- Collaborate closely with team members and communicate project needs proactively
Development Responsibilities
- Develop fully custom WordPress websites from approved designs (no pre-made templates)
- Build responsive, user-friendly websites optimized for:
- SEO
- site performance
- accessibility
- security
- conversion optimization
- Create reusable content modules and flexible page components
- Assist with:
- content updates
- page adjustments
- troubleshooting
- plugin/theme updates
- Troubleshoot client requests and technical issues with minimal supervision
- Assist with:
- page speed optimization
- hosting migrations
- server-related tasks
- Meet project deadlines while maintaining high quality standards
- Take initiative in solving technical challenges independently
Requirements
Do you have experience in WordPress?, At Intrepy, we specialize in healthcare digital marketing and website development for medical practices across the United States. We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented WordPress Designer/Developer to join our growing team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both design and development, can manage multiple projects simultaneously, and takes pride in producing high-quality work. You will collaborate directly with the Intrepy leadership team to design, develop, maintain, and optimize custom healthcare websites., * 4+ years of professional WordPress development experience
- Strong portfolio demonstrating custom website design and development work
- Experience working with healthcare or medical industry clients preferred
- Strong understanding of:
- typography
- layout design
- color theory
- responsive web design
- Advanced proficiency in:
- HTML
- CSS
- WordPress development
- Experience with:
- PHP
- JavaScript customizations
- API integrations
- ACF Pro
- Proficiency with:

- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
