Big Data Engineer

An enterprise company based in Atlanta is seeking Data Engineers. In this position you will own the architecture, design, and delivery of scalable analytics and streaming solutions that turn enterprise data into trustworthy, governed datasets for BI and advanced analytics. participate across the full data engineering lifecycle-gathering and clarifying requirements with business partners and modelers, shaping lakehouse and pipeline designs, and building and operating production ingestion and transformation. The pay rate for this position is $50-70 per hour on a 2 year contract.

5+ years of experience working as a Data Engineer in an enterprise environment.

Databricks, hands-on delivery on the Databricks platform, including developing and operating Databricks Jobs/Workflows, notebooks, and production pipelines using Apache Spark (Spark SQL and/or PySpark) on Databricks.

Experience with Delta Lake and Delta Live Tables.

Databricks governance Bachelor's degree preferred in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems
