Software Product/Portfolio Management

Conduct SMB and Consumer Market assessments to identify portfolio gaps and bring relevant software solutions to our customers

Conduct regular product assortment reviews to ensure a competitive and appealing product range

Partner & Category Management

Identify opportunities to expand partner capabilities and offerings, resulting in increased revenue and market reach

Manage software partner onboarding, business reviews, and opportunity development

Seek out new partnership opportunities to enhance and grow the Consumer/SMB software portfolio

Manage new and existing contracts to ensure optimal business terms for both parties

Software Product Marketing (Go-to-Market) Strategy
- Act as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and external partners to align on goals, strategy, and execution
- Partner with sales, marketing, and product teams to drive go-to-market initiatives and ensure partner success
- Develop and direct 4P Strategy (Product Offer Assortment, Price, Placement, Promotion) for web, direct seller and retail routes to market
- Pricing Strategy
- Develop and implement pricing strategies for software products to maximize profitability and market share
- Monitor competitor product assortment and pricing trends to adjust pricing strategies accordingly
- Conduct regular pricing analysis and provide recommendations for adjustments
- Business Performance / KPI's / Reporting
- Monitor sales performance and key metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
- Model revenue projections, set targets, and report on key performance drivers
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, product development, and customer service
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to align on strategies and objectives
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to strategic planning sessions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Ecommerce, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in software product management, technology marketing, ecommerce, and/or partner development.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in ecommerce platforms, analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledgeable in security software and software industry
- Knowledge of AI and its application in software solutions for consumers and small to medium business customers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decisions
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
The successful candidate will preferably be based out of Morrisville, North Carolina or Austin, Texas. We are open to this role being remote in the US, but candidates in the Eastern or Central time zones are preferred.
Benefits & conditions
