Business Analyst 3 Applications/Software Development

Seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong expertise in business systems analysis, data analysis, requirements gathering, software development lifecycle methodologies, and business process improvement. The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams while supporting application documentation, user training materials, and process optimization initiatives.

The role requires extensive experience analyzing business needs, evaluating system functionality, and translating technical concepts into user-friendly documentation and solutions., * Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user requirements

• Gather and document business, functional, and technical requirements
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, analysts, and IT teams
• Support software development lifecycle activities including analysis, testing, and implementation
• Participate in software development reviews and provide recommendations
• Assist with unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing
• Develop business process maps and recommend process improvements
• Prepare solution options, risk assessments, ROI analysis, and cost/benefit evaluations
• Create detailed documentation including:

• User guides
• How-to documents
• Reference manuals
• Training materials

• Develop and maintain screenshots and visual aids for end-user documentation
• Translate technical functionality into clear language for non-technical users
• Maintain accurate and updated documentation for application enhancements and system changes
• Participate in meetings, demos, and walkthroughs related to system updates

• 8+ years of experience in business systems analysis and business process evaluation
• 8+ years of experience in software development lifecycle methodologies
• 8+ years of experience supporting software development reviews, analysis, design, and testing
• 8+ years of experience performing or participating in unit testing, system testing, and UAT
• Strong experience working with business stakeholders and IT teams
• Experience as a Data Analyst analyzing raw data and business requirements
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to independently manage complex assignments and deliverables, * PMP certification or project management experience
• Experience creating user-focused technical documentation
• Experience developing visual aids and instructional materials
• Ability to explain technical concepts in simple business language
• Experience with business process reengineering and process mapping
