Job description

Join a high-impact IT team as a Senior PeopleSoft Technical Developer supporting the CPA Treasury & Financial System division. Leverage your deep technical expertise to drive complex solution design, lead innovative projects, and mentor fellow developers in a dynamic, collaborative environment. Be at the forefront of technology modernization and process optimization, contributing to critical state financial systems. Responsibilities

  • Lead design, development, and enhancement of sophisticated PeopleSoft applications using PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Engine, and related technologies.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and scalable solutions.
  • Architect and implement customizations, integrations, and module enhancements across Treasury and ERP systems.
  • Conduct advanced troubleshooting, performance optimization, and defect resolution across application layers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate business processes, ensuring up-to-date and accurate system documentation.
  • Provide expert guidance during code reviews, design sessions, and architectural discussions.
  • Develop prototypes, deliver technical documentation, and facilitate stakeholder workshops.
  • Ensure all solutions comply with information security and CPA IPPS standards.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and resource coordination.
  • Prepare and maintain automated unit tests, technical documentation, and implementation plans.

Requirements

8+ years experience with PeopleSoft Tools (PeopleCode, Application Designer, Data Mover, Application Engine).

  • 8+ years implementing, configuring, and customizing PeopleSoft Enterprise Portal.

  • 6+ years experience with SDLC methodologies including Agile, DevOps, and release management.

  • 6+ years designing and implementing complex customizations and security models in PeopleSoft.

  • 4+ years developing enterprise-level security requirements and supporting strict standards.

  • 4+ years with PeopleSoft Treasury 9.2 and PeopleTools 8.58+.

  • 4+ years hands-on with advanced PeopleSoft technologies (Integration Broker, HTML/Java, XML Publisher, dashboards, app messaging, etc.).

  • 4+ years writing automated unit tests and ensuring code quality.

  • 2+ years experience with full lifecycle PeopleSoft implementations.

  • 2+ years proficiency with MS Office/Teams Suite (Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Preferred Skills

  • Leading/supporting enterprise-wide PeopleSoft upgrades.

  • Deep understanding of PeopleSoft Treasury modules.

  • Integrating PeopleSoft with third-party applications.

  • UI/UX design and user-centric application enhancements.

  • Designing solutions in compliance with CPA IPPS.

  • Developing and maintaining USAS file interfaces.

  • Implementing LDAP/identity management in PeopleSoft.

  • Expertise in PeopleSoft security architecture.
