Job description
- Lead in the design, implementation, documentation and testing of safety critical firmware systems.
- Understand hardware and software interactions.
- Collaborate across disciplines with Hardware and Software engineers
- Mentor and help develop new engineers.
- Develop knowledge of SEL engineering processes.
- Develop knowledge of SEL products and technology.
- Follow and apply SEL Values and Principles of Operations
- Understand. Create. Simplify.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Writing skills?, * B.S. in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience
- Knowledge in the following areas:
- Programming languages: C, C++
- Software development including: o Object oriented design o Unit testing o Debugging
- Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
- Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
- Background check results satisfactory to SEL
- Negative drug test result(s)
