Job description
The Programme Manager (Infrastructure Finance) plays a key role in operationalizing Giga's financing strategy, building on existing approaches and project finance tools. The role leads and coordinates engagement with international financial institutions (IFIs), development finance institutions (DFIs), and private sector partners, and contributes to the structuring of financing solutions and the development of digital infrastructure investment pipelines.

- Funding Tracker/ CRM System of Connectivity Projects and Key Donor Accounts

Requirements

Education: Master or equivalent (Advanced University Degree) in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, International Development and any other related fields. A Bachelor or equivalent (First Level University Degree)in a relevant area combined with 2 additional years of relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of an advanced university degree.

Work Experience: At least 8 years of relevant work experience in financial management, infrastructure project finance, financial advisory, investment, emerging market, strategy consulting, engaging with development finance institutions and government stakeholders is required or a related fields is required.

Skills: Strong ability to perform project-level financial analysis, financing deal origination, due diligence, and structuring, macroeconomic analysis, and develop financial models;Demonstrated proficiency in AI-enabled productivity and analytical tools, including the ability to synthesize complex information, develop compelling presentations, and generate actionable insights from data.

Language Requirements: Proficiency in English is required.
Desirables:
- Language: Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) is an asset;
- Experience working in telecommunication industry/ digital infrastructure projects is a strong asset;
- Experience working at the intersection of development/donor organizations, public finance, and the private sector is an asset;
- Experience designing and developing business plans is an asset;
- Advanced professional education degree in finance and investments, e.g. CFA, is an asset;
- Experience in a UN system agency or international organization is an asset;
- Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts is an asset.
