Job description

Architect and Develop Reusable Code: All descriptions emphasize developing reusable code, promoting code modularity, and ensuring maintainability. Design, Develop, and Maintain Services: Design, develop, and maintain services with a focus on consistency, scalability, and adherence to industry best practices. Collaboration with Stakeholders: Close collaboration with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable and effective backend or software solutions. Code Reviews and Coding Standards: Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and enforce coding standards to maintain quality and consistency. Staying Up-to-date with Technology: Stay updated with the latest trends, advancements, tools, and frameworks, and drive their adoption when appropriate. Collaboration with Managers: Collaborate with product and engineering managers to define project timelines, estimate effort, and ensure successful delivery. Troubleshooting and Debugging: Troubleshoot and debug complex issues to ensure optimal performance and timely resolution (backend-focused). Fostering Continuous Learning and Growth: Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and growth within the team.

Requirements

Extensive experience in backend development Strong English communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams Good knowledge of event-driven architecture, microservices, and domain-driven design Enthusiasm for trying new technologies and helping other developers grow Self-motivated, proactive, with strong problem-solving skills and accountability for deliverables Experience working in an Agile environment Nice-to-Have Good knowledge of functional programming languages Professional experience with at least one of Rust or Elixir Knowledge of TDD Knowledge of RabbitMQ/Kafka
