The Enterprise Transformation Programme is a multi-year journey focused on transforming the Haleon business and building an organisation that is Wired for Excellence, a key driver of our 'Win as One' strategy. The Head of ERP Data is responsible for the data strategy, architecture, and migration initiatives within the programme and establishing a first-in-class ERP data platform for Haleon using the latest available SAP data technologies as the company implements S/4. This role focuses on ensuring data integrity, quality, and accessibility, while optimising data models ensuring the successful delivery and measurable impact of a portfolio of enterprise analytical use cases. This role acts as the bridge between business stakeholders and the Chief Data Office (CDO), ensuring that analytical products are aligned to business needs, prioritized effectively, and deliver tangible value.
The role will reporting into the Head of ERP and will be resonsible for the scope define for both the forward looking Digital S/4 HANA based SAP technologies as well as the existing SAP BW based legacy data solutions.
Data Strategy & Technical Architecture:
- Implement a comprehensive data strategy aligned with the S/4HANA transformation objectives, including but not limited to Data Migration Strategy, Data Management & Data Governance Strategy and S/4 Reporting & Analytics Strategy.
- Define ERP target data technology & data model architecture principles, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards, integration patterns & enterprise data management and global data lake environments
- Oversee data integration design across SAP and to non-SAP systems, ensuring secure, performant, governed and scalable data flows.
- Design data models and technical architectures for improved data management and facilitate integration with SAP S/4HANA systems / satellite systems.
- Define an Enterprise Data Product roadmap to build a foundational data capability for Haleon.
Data Migration Planning and Execution:
- Lead the planning, execution, and validation of data migration from legacy ECC based systems to S/4HANA.
- Define the end-to-end data migration methodology.
- Specify tool selection (e.g., SAP Data Services, SAP Migration Cockpit, , etc.)
- Complete process design for extract, transform, and load (ETL) activities
- Define & oversee solutions for managing interim / partial transition states required to support corporate and enterprise analytics during a multi-wave roloout.
- Ensure required data quality and preparation considerations are understood and met.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security throughout the migration process.
Collaboration and Requirements Gathering:
- Partner with Value Pool leads to engage with senior business stakeholders to gather and interpret enterprise data requirements, translating them into actionable designs.
- Facilitate collaboration between IT and business teams to ensure data solutions meet strategic goals.
Data Governance and Quality Assurance:
- Establish and enforce data governance frameworks to ensure consistent data management practices which align with global standards and the broader enterprise data management strategy.
- Develop procedures to maintain high levels of data quality and integrity.
- Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR) throughout the data lifecycle.
- Full understanding of SOX obligations and how to ensure compliance for Group Reporting.
Technical Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead a team of data specialists, providing direction, mentoring, and support to ensure project success and ongoing run operations.
- Lead the Data Technology Implementation for S/4 and establishment of a first-in-class ERP data platform for Haleon, including BDC, the Joule AI Stack and data related SAP apps (e.g. Group reporting).

Requirements
Do you have experience in SAP S/4HANA?, * Significant experience in Data at enterprise scale.
- Several years of experience leading, owning & designing data models within scope of an ERP Programme.
- Extensive experience in data architecture and design within SAP environments, especially SAP S/4HANA.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
- Leadership skills to effectively manage a team of data professionals.
- Experience in statutory reporting & compliance relevant industry - essential.
- Experience in consumer health, life sciences, or FMCG industries - desirable.
- Proficiency in data migration tools (e.g. SAP Migration Cockpit, BODS, LSMW) and familiarity with S/4HANA data models.
- Knowledge of newly introduces SAP data technology, particularly BDC including Databricks, Joule AI (including Joule Studio).
