Job description
Reporting to the CEO, the IT Director will oversee infrastructure, cybersecurity, systems administration, vendor relationships, and technology planning while supporting employees across the organization. The successful candidate will be proactive, service-oriented, and capable of driving technology improvements that support business growth and operational efficiency. Will lead the systems integration for two acquisitions this year as we grow from 100 to 200 employees and more than double our revenue.
Our office will be moving to the downtown Tampa area in about a year.
What You'll Do:
- Leads development and implementation processes for the organization's IT systems and department.
- Develop and implement business continuity protocols to minimize disruption to business operations in the event of emergencies or data loss.
- Establishes efficiency and efficacy standards, providing recommendations for improvement of IT infrastructure.
- Analyzes IT infrastructure and systems performance to assess operating costs, productivity levels, upgrade requirements, and other metrics and needs.
- Oversee the security of systems, networks, and enterprise information.
- Facilitates IT security audits or investigations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external IT vendors and service providers.
- Coordinates multi-site IT systems via enterprise resource planning (ERP).
- Hands-on management and configuration of core systems, with the ability to scale the department as we grow.
- Some project and operational related travel (approximately 15% annually).
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Productivity software?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree in computer science?, We are seeking an experienced and motivated IT Director to lead and support all aspects of our company's technology operations. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who enjoys balancing strategic planning with day-to-day IT management in a collaborative, fast-paced, changing environment., * 10+ years experience leading an IT function
- A bachelor's degree in computer science; a master's or MBA is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in the latest technology for IT systems and management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Suite, including SharePoint, OneDrive, Planner, Power BI, etc.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical and management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Thorough understanding of IT and practical applications to support the company's goals.
Additional skills that will add to your Success:
- Project Management Certification
- Experience supporting Deltek or other ERP system
- ITIL Certification
- SDLC Certification
- Proficient with managing cloud-based applications
- Vendor Management experience
- Experience with Jira/Confluence and PowerShell technologies
