The Assistant Registrar for Systems Infrastructure plays a pivotal role in managing and maintaining all systems related to curriculum maintenance and changes within the University Registrar's Office. Reporting directly to the Senior Assistant Registrar for Systems Infrastructure, this position ensures that essential platforms, including but not limited to Courseleaf, DegreeWorks, Smart Plan, and Banner, operate efficiently and support institutional goals. The Assistant Registrar is committed to providing exceptional service to students, faculty, and staff, maintaining the highest standards of quality and support in all aspects of systems infrastructure., Percentage Of Time 40% Key Responsibility Curriculum Systems Support and Maintenance Essential Tasks
- Manage, maintain, and oversee all systems related to curriculum maintenance and changes, including Courseleaf, DegreeWorks, Smart Plan, and Banner.
- Coordinate projects and updates in all related systems with team members
- Collaborate with university stakeholders to ensure systems meet current academic and administrative needs.
- Provide technical support and guidance for system users, including students, faculty, and staff.
- Coordinate system upgrades, troubleshooting, and data integrity checks.
- Develop and implement procedures for effective curriculum management and change processes.
- Ensure compliance with university policies and relevant regulations regarding academic systems and records.
- Serve as a liaison between the Registrar's Office and IT or external vendors for systems-related issues.
- Assist in training and onboarding staff members in the use of curriculum systems.

- Oversees all staff members within curriculum systems.
- Serves as the primary manager of project priorities and related to curriculum updates.
- Oversees and coaches direct reports in the University Registrar's Office and assists with setting the direction for the Systems Infrastructure Curriculum staff.
- Manages the creation and execution of system testing timelines and deadlines
- Oversee all aspects of the development, maintenance, and alignment of systems data to ensure accurate academic records and record processing.
Percentage Of Time 15% Key Responsibility Systems Maintenance and Testing Essential Tasks
- Serves as a resource for processing operations needed to assist in curriculum and systems matters.
- Responsible for providing back up team tasks as needed.

Requirements
- Relevant post-Baccalaureate degree required; for candidates demonstrating comparable independent educational or instructional activities associated with the delivery and/or management of student support functions, will accept a relevant undergraduate degree and relevant experience in substitution.
Additional Required Certifications, Licensures, and Certificates, * Master's degree from an accredited college or university and three years of experience in a registrar's office.
- Demonstrated expertise working with Student Information Systems or similar educational administration software.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with and foster collaboration among a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a large, complex academic environment.
- Familiarity with issues that influence higher education and/or the profession.
- Passion for enhancing the student and faculty experience.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards in recordkeeping and service delivery.
- Adaptability and willingness to embrace new technologies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
- Ability to explain processes and procedures with clarity and accuracy.
- Capacity to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Knowledge of student information systems or applications such as: Ellucian Banner, National Student Clearinghouse, Leepfrog CourseLeaf, and Degree Audit and experience in a decentralized University preferred.
