Job description
As a DevOps Engineer, you will:
- Maintain and support production environments for web-based platforms.
- Manage and operate AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring availability, reliability, and performance.
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Automate configuration management and deployments using Ansible.
- Perform system administration tasks and ongoing platform maintenance.
- Monitor systems, identify issues, and troubleshoot production incidents as needed.
- Collaborate with junior and senior engineers, project managers, and business stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
- Work effectively under tight deadlines and respond proactively to operational challenges.
- Ensure stable operations through consistent maintenance, automation, and process improvement.
Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or infrastructure operations.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
- Proven experience using Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Solid experience with Ansible for automation and configuration management.
- Background in production support and maintaining live environments.
- Strong Linux/system administration skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and application issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across diverse teams.
- A proactive, dependable, and calm demeanor when working under pressure.
- Willingness to work primarily during standard business hours with flexibility as required.
Benefits & conditions
Pay Range*: $60-$65 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
