Job description

Our team of routers simulate route itinerary, analyze planned routes against actual driven routes, and continually re-engineer routing in order to ensure that each route is filled to capacity, miles are reduced, customers are delivered on-time, and trucks meet safety regulations. Routers work together with Sales and Transportation to appropriately place customers onto routes that meet delivery windows and reduce transportation cost as a percentage to sales. Routers do this by sifting through data using analytical techniques aimed to continually attack the worst quartile of routes. The router must plan for seasonal changes that occur during the summer, holidays, and school semesters. As a Routing Analyst at Labatt, you will:

  • Manage up to 200 routes each week

  • Drive solutions with best-in-class routing software developed in-house

  • Analyze, and help the organization digest, large sources of delivery data to reduce cost

  • Work cooperatively as a team with sales and transportation

  • Listen to the feedback of drivers and transportation supervisors to improve route logistics
