Join the Firm Analytics team and help us unlock the power of data science to solve a wide range of business challenges and improve the people-experience through data-driven capabilities and insights. As a Senior Data Scientist on our team, you will design, develop and deliver data science solutions requiring advanced mathematical methods, statistical and machine learning models in support of data-driven strategies. You will combine data from multiple sources to develop innovative solutions to business problems and collaborate with business partners and other data scientists to develop tailored analytic solutions that inform and influence business decisions across the firm.   • Interpret and communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders, translating solutions into meaningful value propositions. Clear communication without technical jargon is important to success.

  • Partner with data engineers and digital product owners to scale and deploy your models into systems.

  • Act as a mentor and help your teammates learn and grow.

  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in optimization techniques and tools.

  • Collaborate on and advocate for adoption of best practices and cutting-edge methods within the team.

Requirements

  • Master of Science Degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or related field required. PhD degree desired.

  • 9+ years professional experience with predictive statistical models or numerical optimization, and working with typical data used in such analyses

  • Strong programming skills in one or more programming languages (Python, R, Scala) with demonstrated ability to mentor others at lower skill levels

  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and distributed systems for large-scale data processing.

  • Skilled in manipulating data in one or more of (SQL, Snowflake, Databricks)

  • Demonstrated ability to translate data into meaningful value propositions for business partners to facilitate understanding and generate solutions that are in the best interest of the client and firm
