Job description
We are looking for an eCommerce Project Coordinator who will grow with our team. This role is focused on syndicating approved product content to all retailer sites like Amazon and Walmart as required, including, but not limited to: product names, bullets, descriptions, retailer attributes, SEO copy, product images, alt images, 360 spins, enhanced content, etc. This position will work across cross-functional teams, internal and external systems and retailer partners to ensure timely publishing and integrity of approved product content. This position also requires a high level of tech savviness and flexibility to meet perpetually changing retailer requirements and systems.
An integral part of this position requires a great deal of project management, problem solving, and critical thinking skills to manage content syndication for a large volume of SKUs to meet varying retailer publishing demands. This role is highly collaborative across sales and retailer partners and requires regular communication across all key content stakeholders.
This role will report to the Amazon Creative & Content Manager.
In this role you will:

Support content syndication to all retail partners (primarily Amazon initially) including basic product content, retailer attributes, images, 360 spins, videos and enhanced/A+ content, etc. as required;

Be able to manage a large volume of product information with a high level of attention to detail and quality control;

Be able to evaluate datasets for consistency, completeness, and accuracy to syndicate to retailer platforms;

Actively maintain eCommerce content platforms for content publishing including, but not limited to: Amazon Vendor Central, Syndigo, Supplier Center, Sellpoints, IDM, Scene7, etc.

Be able to actively manage assigned project tasks and tickets via project tracking systems and Google sheets as required to meet deliverables and deadlines and provide on-going status updates;

Maintain a core understanding of SKU each, case, pallet and display unit configurations;

Support product content management in Product Information Management (PIM) & Digital Asset Management (DAM) platforms as needed for syndication to retailer sites;

Maintain and support systems and processes for content integrity audits and quality control checks as required;

Partner with content owners to ensure product content meets retailer requirements for publishing (required fields for bullets and descriptions, basic SKU data, word and character counts, etc.);

Provide readiness reporting as needed for accurate seasonal strategy planning;

Support content collection requests as required for internal and external partners;

Manage additional duties as assigned.
Additional responsibilities assigned as special needs may arise and should be considered as important as brand/business responsibilities noted above.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree in digital marketing, visual communication, marketing, communications or related field;
- 5+ years experience managing product content, eCommerce/digital content or other equivalent experience;
- Must be extremely detail-oriented, deadline driven and have the ability to manage multiple projects at once;
- Strong proof-reading skills are a must to ensure the correct product data is published;
- Tech savviness with an initiative to learn new software systems quickly;
- Strong problem-solving skills, analytical and critical-thinking skills to be able to proactively resolve issues and continuously improve results;
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel to manage spreadsheets is required;
- Must have a results-oriented focus and flexibility with continuous change;
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills required, position requires extensive email communication to retailer help resources to manage tickets;
- Must be able to manage time effectively and work independently with the ability to contribute collaboratively to a team;
- Ability to be comfortable working in a highly-matrixed environment;
- A keen view of the rapidly changing eCommerce content marketing environment including trends, systems, competition and understanding of both consumer ability to juggle multiple projects, connect the dots and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
Some other nice to haves:
- Merchandising, Marketing, Content Publishing or eCommerce experience is preferred, for a national manufacturer or CPG brand;
- Awareness or understanding of eCommerce content creation, distribution and syndication and/or PIM systems integrations;
- Retailer systems experience: Retailer Content Publishing Systems (e.g. Amazon Vendor/Seller Central, Home Depot IDM, Lowe's Link, Walmart Supplier Center, ARS, etc.) and PIM/content publishing and auditing systems (e.g. Salsify, Edgenet, Clavis, Content Analytics, etc.),
- Experience with Product Information Management (PIM) systems, project management systems, and/or DAM systems (e.g., Canto Cumulus, Extensis Suitcase, etc.);
- Analytical and statistical skills;
- Experience with data analytics platforms (Edge, Profitero, etc.).
- Knowledge of Resize Sense and/or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
The starting budgeted pay range for this role will generally fall between $67,800.00 - $79,800.00 per year. Scotts will consider various factors in determining the actual pay including your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location.For remote roles where the final candidate resides in Alaska, California, Colorado, Illinois, New York, Oregon or Washington, state required pay thresholds will be factored into base salary.
