The Veterinary Receptionist is the first point of contact for clients and plays a key role in keeping the front desk running smoothly. This position includes greeting clients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, processing payments, and supporting communication between clients and the medical team.
Key Responsibilities
Greet clients and patients in a warm, professional manner
Answer incoming calls and respond to client questions
Schedule appointments and manage the daily calendar
Check patients in and out accurately
Process payments and maintain front desk records
Update client and patient information in the practice system
Communicate clearly with veterinarians and technicians
Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
Support the team with general administrative tasks as needed
Requirements
Do you have experience in Computer literacy?, Previous receptionist, customer service, or front desk experience preferred
Veterinary, medical, or dental office experience is a plus
Strong communication and people skills
Comfortable handling a busy phone line and multitasking
Basic computer skills and ability to learn practice software
Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented
Compassion for animals and the people who care for them
