Job description
Our client seeks a Full Stack Engineer to build and maintain modern websites and digital products. The role will contribute across the stack with TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, and WordPress while emphasizing performance, reliability, and simplicity. You will collaborate with product, design, and external teams, tackle technical challenges, and use approved AI-powered tools to accelerate development. You will support iterative improvement, documentation, code reviews, and occasional after-hours production support., * Contribute across the stack and write clean, maintainable code with a focus on reliability, performance, and simplicity.
- Work across Frontend (TypeScript, Next.js, React), Backend (Node.js, TypeScript), and CMS (WordPress, PHP) technologies.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and external development teams to develop and execute new features.
- Debug issues, improve code quality, and strengthen system reliability.
- Own deliverables, seek feedback, and pursue growth and learning as an engineer.
- Conduct code reviews, develop engineering documentation, and participate in planning sessions.
- Iterate and improve systems, contributing ideas to move faster and build smarter while adapting to changing business requirements.
- Use approved AI-powered engineering tools to accelerate development, testing, documentation, and refactoring.
- Provide after hours and weekend support for production systems when needed.
Requirements
Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance., * 3+ years designing, developing, and delivering full stack solutions using TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, and WordPress.
- Understanding of headless CMS concepts and API-driven content management.
- Experience designing and implementing scalable REST API endpoints.
- Experience integrating with AWS services, including querying and optimizing Elasticsearch.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, responsive design, accessibility (a11y), and SEO best practices.
- Strong understanding of modern DevOps practices including CI/CD with Docker, GitHub workflows, and proxies like Varnish and Akamai.
- Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
- Ability to leverage data, telemetry, and analytics to inform engineering decisions.
Education Requirements:
- BS in computer science, engineering, or equivalent work experience.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
